Unlike traditional saunas, which heat the air to high temperatures which in turn heats your body, home infrared sauna uses far infrared to directly warm the body. Infrared saunas will heat to 165F. Most Infrared saunas only reach 150F, but ours can go all the way up to 165F. Despite the lower temperature, you still experience the benefits of sweating and detoxification due to the deep-penetrating heat.

The traditional stone heater requires an electrician to install the 240V hookup, while the infrared heaters will plug straight into a 120V 15 Amp outlet. Traditional heaters will heat up the combination sauna to 185F+ while infrared saunas will only heat to 150F.
