Combination Saunas
Combination: 2 in 1 "A" Combination Model – FIR & Traditional
A+ 4’2” x 4’3”: For 2, with authentic stone heating & 8 FIR emitters–110V (A+1) or 240V (A+2).
The M models require professional hookup. All others include power cords. Standard features in all models include: extra-wide benches, a towel bar, an air filter, and a tempered glass door. Key Benefits
- Uses FIR (far-infrared) and has the superior air-change ability of stone heater units
- Allows humidity control along with FIR
- Offers very wide temperature range
- Can be larger, more comfortable saunas
The Combination Model - A+
The A+ model is a versatile 2-person sauna integrating the benefits of FIR with the desirable features of authentic Finnish heating - “the best of both”.
Two circuits are required to use both heating systems simultaneously. Use it as a far-infrared sauna by turning the thermostat to FIR temperature levels, or raise the temperature or moisten the stones to your personal comfort. We mentioned earlier that the FIR backrests can be repositioned slightly, so a sole bather can turn one of the backrests against the adjacent side wall to stretch out comfortably while retaining the FIR exposure upon their back. You can also sit between the RBs to direct the far infrared directly upon both sides of the upper body, as shown below. In this position, with both feet on the step panel, you receive direct far infrared heating from all the FIR heaters.
Along with an enhanced level of FIR exposure, is the fact that the sauna stones, imported from Finland, broadcast far infrared energy throughout the sauna in the same wavelength range as FIR heaters do. This fact is never mentioned by far infrared sauna sellers, who tend to compare the sauna types in a black and white fashion – all-infrared versus hot air, but heating these mineral-laden stones for their infrared output has always been an essential component of traditional saunas.
